Most of us have had an extraordinary experience. One that took us out of our surroundings into a different place, time or sphere of perception. Like knowing something was going to happen before it does. Feeling the need to call someone and discovering they were also thinking of us or were suffering or needing support. Driving through a setting and knowing we have been there before even if that is impossible.

For the Port Gamble Ghost Conference, on Sunday, November 9 this year, I am offering a class called “Finding the Psychic Power in Your Hands.” As a palm/hand reader for over 50 years, I am well acquainted with the traditional configurations and markings showing that someone has keen intuition and the ability to ascend into their ‘higher self.’

From reading thousands of hands, though, I have become convinced that each one of us has the power to get beyond facts available to the senses to see into the soul of things on this Earth and beyond.  The approach is just different.

Thus there are endless ways to be ‘psychic.’ Here are a few thoughts about what this can mean.

• Having intensified sensual abilities through any of the ‘clairs:’ clairvoyance (seeing), clairaudience (hearing), clairsentience (feeling), even experiencing smells and tastes not present in the surrounding environment.
• Receiving communication from non-human intelligence.
• Understanding something not commonly known.
• Possessing extraordinary empathy. Really feeling in our own body and soul what others are feeling.
• Being able to completely put Ego aside in order to communicate with those in other dimensions.
• Being able to see yourself and others in past and future lifetimes
• Dreaming vividly and having dreams come true or reveal an essential truth

Through each new palm I read I am taught how much potential we all have to live an infinite and wondrous life. I hope the class will be a personal revelation of psychic gifts to each one who attends. And if you can’t come to Port Gamble for the conference this year, I hope you will ponder how you best manifest your Cosmic Awareness!
